Dr. Kristi Gibbs completed her undergraduate, graduate and veterinary studies at Washington State University – Go COUGs!
Following veterinary school, she returned to California to complete a general internship (including emergency, oncology, internal medicine and surgery) at Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group. She was a practicing veterinarian for 10 years in Santa Barbara—in general practice as well as emergency medicine. This is where she developed her interest and appreciation for veterinary dentistry as well as extensive experience with rabbits and guinea pigs. She then completed her veterinary dental training with Veterinary Dental Specialties. Professional interests include client education as well as prevention and treatment of periodontal disease. She has a bionic terrier named Jax that she adopted as an ER doctor at CARE! In her free time, she enjoys exploring the Central Coast, traveling abroad or just downright relaxing.
