Dr. Kissel grew up on the central coast and earned her Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Scripps College in 2009. She went on to pursue her DVM degree from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2017. Dr. Kissel joined VCA Camino in fall 2021 and feels fortunate to be part of such a dedicated, caring team. One of Dr. Kissel's favorite aspects of general practice is developing lasting relationships with pets and their families—it is very rewarding to be a part of their long-term care! Her special interests include dermatology and surgery.

When Dr. Kissel is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and toddler, the outdoors, music, art, cooking and gardening. Her family wouldn't be complete without her two kitties and crazy labradoodle, Olive.
