Dr. Robin Bohaty is excited to be joining VCA Boone Animal Hospital! She is originally from the western suburbs and is glad to be back in the area after living and working in Chicago for the last several years.

Dr. Bohaty earned her bachelor's and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from the University of Illinois. She also holds a master's degree in animal science with an emphasis on nutritional physiology from the University of Kentucky.

Dr. Bohaty's professional interests include preventative care, internal medicine and dermatology. She is Fear Free trained and strives to make each pets' veterinary experience as low stress as possible. Dr. Bohaty's favorite part of her job is developing long term relationships with families and their pets to help them live their best, happiest lives from puppy and kitten-hood all the way through old age.

When she isn't working Dr. Bohaty enjoys spending time with her husband and three young daughters, cooking, spending time outdoors and trying new restaurants. After the recent loss of their beloved Boston Terrier, Lucille, the family is looking to welcome a new pet to the family in the not-too-distant future.
