Dr. Jennifer Deyo joined VCA Boone Animal Hospital in 2020. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Deyo is certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture. Her favorite part about being a veterinarian is fostering and strengthening the human companion animal bond between her clients and their pets.

Dr. Deyo shares her home with 4 dogs (Cooper and Tallulah, French Bulldogs; Ziva and a puppy not yet named, Rottweilers), and 1 cat (Pixie, Domestic Short Hair).

Outside of work, Dr. Deyo enjoys training and competing in dog sports (agility and nosework). She also volunteers with her dog, Ziva, for NWI K9 Search and Recovery, a not-for-profit organization that uses dogs to assist law enforcement (and families) to recover missing persons.
