Dr. Philbin was born and raised in the Bay Area and completed her undergraduate degree at San Jose State University.  During her time in San Jose she decided to combine her interest in biology with her love of animals and try working as a veterinary assistant at a small hospital.  Needless to say, she was hooked!  She then moved down to southern California to complete her doctorate of veterinary medicine at Western University of Health Sciences.  She now calls Los Angeles her home with her trusty sidekick, a corgi named Brosnan.  In their free time you can find them exploring the parks around LA, sipping puppuccinos at the nearest Starbucks, or snuggling up with a good movie.  While she only has one pup for now, she has always considered herself a cat person and is excited to care for both the dogs and cats of Glendale.
