Dr. Roberson's academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Western Carolina University, followed by receiving his DVM from Ohio State. He began his career with VCA in 2015, where he worked at our sister hospital, VCA Sawmill in Columbus, Ohio. In August of 2022, he transitioned his dedication to animal care to VCA Appalachian. Throughout his career, his profound affection for animals has served as an influential cornerstone.
Prior to achieving his DVM, he honed his expertise as a veterinary and surgical assistant, garnering experience at both VCA and the Humane Alliance Spay and Neuter clinic in Asheville, North Carolina. Driven by his passion, he made invaluable contributions to the well-being of countless animals.
Dr. Roberson shares his abode with three cherished cats (Boo, Earle, and Nikki), as well as two beloved dogs (Eddy and Pisghy). Beyond his professional pursuits, he finds delight in cooking, biking, immersing himself in history-related podcasts, and indulging in video games.
