The veterinarians and staff of the VCA Animal Healing Center are here to restore and maintain your pet's health through a combination of the highest-quality holistic medicine, conventional medicine, and surgery. We will always treat your pet as if they were our own with compassion and dignity. We are committed to respecting every person and animal who comes through our door, and providing kind and individualized care, along with open and honest communication.
How we are providing Alternative Medicine and Homeopathy for our patients
At VCA Animal Healing Center, we recognize that both modern veterinary techniques and alternative modalities are important in caring for an animal. Holistic veterinary medicine looks at all aspects of the entire animal with emphasis on both conventional and alternative therapies as options for treatment. As holistic veterinarians we focus on multiple areas of veterinary care to aid in the treatment and prevention of disease, including: nutrition, lifestyle, and the psychological state. Communication between the animal, owner, and veterinarian is an important part of this discipline.
Homeopathy
Homeopathy is based on the theories that one's body can heal itself and that "like heals like". In Homeopathy, sick patients can be treated successfully with the same substance that causes symptoms but in an extremely diluted form.
Homeopathy is natural, not addictive, safe, and has no side effects. It is the second most widely used system of medicine in the world, and its popularity is continuing to grow. It is holistic and treats all symptoms as one, which in practical terms means that it addresses the cause, not the symptoms.
We harness the scale and strength of our global network while acknowledging each individual's contribution. We work locally to improve the lives of all who interact with our brand.
