Dr. Joseph Osborne, is a graduate of the University of Tennessee's College of Veterinary Medicine. He moved into the Wilmington area after living in Knoxville, TN, for the last few years, but grew up in Chesapeake, VA, right outside of Virginia Beach. Dr. Osborne started with VCA in July 2024 and is excited to start his career here with us and discover his passions within the broad scope of veterinary medicine. In school, Dr. Osborne enjoyed performing surgery and advanced imaging like ultrasounds and radiographs. Dr. Osborne likes working with all dog and cat breeds and especially enjoys working with bully breeds. Dr. Osborne also loves providing compassionate end of life care to geriatric patients.

In his free time, Dr. Osborne likes to relax on the beach, go body boarding, visit state parks to hike and camp overnight, ride his mountain bike in all terrains, and build Lego sets! Dr. Osborne is a proud cat dad of two rescue tabbies named Remi and Lakey and hopes to add a puppy to the family soon. Dr. Osborne, who goes by Dr. Joe as well, is very excited to meet you all and help care for your pets.
