A native Texan, Dr. Wendy Harris grew up in the Austin area, where she lived until moving to College Station. There she attended Texas A&M University and received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science as well as her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She has previously practiced in Dallas, The Woodlands, Metairie, LA, and Omaha, NE.  

Dr. Harris is passionate about her career, but has a special interest in geriatric medicine, internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. She really enjoys the personal connection she makes with her pet parents, working with them to find the best treatment option for both her patient and their family. She achieves this through communication and education.  

When she can, she enjoys gardening, and even has a full-fledged butterfly garden! She also likes to bake (we LOVE that about her), as well as travelling with her husband and family, which includes two adult daughters.
