Dr. Sandra McBee was born in Oklahoma and raised in Oklahoma, New York City and Connecticut. From the time she was young Dr. McBee had a love of animals and science. She put the two together and decided to pursue veterinary medicine. She received her Bachelor of the Arts degree in Biological Sciences from Mount Holyoke College. She then continued on to complete her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University. She is USDA accredited and a member of the American Veterinary Medicine Association. She has a special interest in wellness care and truly enjoys watching her patients grow and thrive. Dr. McBee also has a special interest in dentistry, orthopedic surgery, pain management and behavioral medicine.
After graduating, Dr. McBee moved to New Jersey and, prior to joining Winslow Animal Hospital, practice small animal medicine in both Ocean and Cape May Counties. She currently lives in Cape May county with her husband, Tommy, her children, Noelle and James, and her pets. She has 2 horses (Georgie and Biscut), 1 cat (Ted), 3 dogs, Daphne (Sheltie) and Russ and Rita (Labrador retrievers). She spends the majority of her free time with her children – watching her oldest ride horses, competing in the English Circuit of South Jersey and performing in various musical theater productions and her youngest develop his own talents in sports and music. Dr. McBee’s family can usually be found on the boat fishing or at the beach in the summer months.
