Dr. Wantuck attended veterinary school at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. Following graduation she completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA Veterinary Care Animal Hospital and Referral Center in Albuquerque, NM. Before veterinary school she attended Colorado State University and earned a BS in biology and zoology. She then worked as a wildlife rehabilitator in New Mexico for several years before deciding to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine and exotic animal medicine. Dr. Wantuck is passionate about the human-animal bond and enjoys getting to know her clients and their pets on an individual basis. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Wantuck enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, rock climbing, running, snowboarding and snowshoeing. She shares her home with her partner Jesse, dog (Denali), cat (Carrots) and parrot (Mango).
