Carrie grew up outside of Boston and moved to the Sturbridge Area in 2005. In 1999, she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology from Westfield State. Prior to joining the VCA family, Carrie was the Assistant Director of Residential Life at Tufts University, on the Medford Campus.

In spring of 2017, she decided to follow her lifelong passion for animals by joining the veterinary community, as the Client Service Supervisor at VCA Northboro Animal Hospital. In her free time she enjoys shopping and spending time with her family. Carrie and her wife Kristine are also very active in the flyball community and frequently travel to various tournaments with their 7 dogs.
