I have worked as a receptionist in the Veterinary field for nearly 28 years, most of them here at Wickaboag. As with most people in this industry, my love for animals is what attracted me to this job all those years ago. Over the years, I have been lucky enough to have been able to share my home with many animals. Currently, I have 1 dog and 4 cats who kindly "share their space" with me. Copper, my goofy hound dog was adopted from Sterling Animal Shelter seven years ago. I have adopted all of my cats from a local shelter and each have their own unique little story, but Cindy Bear, (appropriately named after Yogi's girlfriend) has a story that stands out the most. She, along with 3 littermates were lucky enough to be rescued from a trash compactor by an employee at a local Jellystone Campground . That was almost 12 years ago and each time I look into her eyes, I am reminded why I have stayed in this field all these years.
