Dr. Victoria Carter, a Canadian citizen, is currently exploring the West Coast of the USA. She earned her B.Sc (Hons) from the University of Guelph in 2013 and then pursued her veterinary degree at the University of Edinburgh, completing her BVM&S in 2019. Afterward, she moved to New York, completing a rotating internship and an internal medicine internship at Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Services in Rochester. She finished her residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in 2024 and is set to be accredited by the ACVIM in June 2025.
Dr. Carter specializes in treating infectious and immune-mediated diseases in small animals, with a focus on gastroenterology, nephrology, hepatology, and hematology.
A passionate rugby fan, she played for her university's women's team in Scotland. She lives with her husband and their two rescue cats, Scotty and Olivia.
