Dr. Marcia Buzhardt has a deep compassion to help pets and their families. She loves being a veterinarian and it shows every day! Marcia is a proud Auburn graduate with BS and DVM degrees upon graduation in 1995. After an externship in North Carolina and working in Atlanta for 1 year, Dr. Buzhardt moved to Kansas. In August of 1996, she began working here at VCA Welborn and still calls Kansas her home away from home. 

After hours she enjoys spending time with family, hiking and kayaking. Dr. Buzhardt also enjoys watching soccer as well as traveling, especially on her service trips. Her family includes her husband, three children, two dogs (Milo & Otis), and most recently a pigeon (Rhea).
