Jose has been in the pet care industry for 18 years! All of those years have been spent right here at VCA Valley. Starting as a kennel tech, Jose has worked his way up to become a Credentialed Technician (RVT) and a Hospital Supervisor. But what really sets Jose apart is his passion for teaching, training, and building up his team members. He is all about sharing his knowledge and expertise to help others grow and succeed in the industry. When he is not busy being a pet care superstar, Jose loves spending time with his two adorable Chihuahuas, Marcus and Lady. And if that is not enough, he is also an avid mountain biker who loves nothing more than hitting the trails. Jose is also a bit of a lawn fanatic and takes great pride in keeping his yard in tip-top shape. In fact, he even has a got a friendly competition going on with his neighbors to see who can have the best-looking lawn on the block.
