Dr O'Reilly graduated from the University of Toronto in biology and psychology and the Atlantic Veterinary College in P.E.I in 1995.

She enjoys running, cycling, dancing and all outdoor activities.

Willingly, she co-owns her backyard with birds, raccoons and squirrels - pets not by choice.
