Dr. Natalie Henigan is a graduate of Colorado State University where she earned her degree in veterinary medicine as well as her undergraduate B.S. in Microbiology. She joined the VCA team in 2013 after she completed a year-long small animal rotating internship in Albuquerque, NM. She moved to Alexandria, VA, in 2014 and has been with VCA Old Town prior to joining the team at VCA Town Center in 2024.
She has a special interest in small animal ultrasonography, and completed the SOUND Small Animal Ultrasound Imaging Program in 2019 to better improve her skills in diagnostic imaging.
In her spare time, she loves traveling (she grew up in the U.K.), spending time with her family, snowboarding, and reading lots of books. She enjoys living in Springfield with her husband and two young boys, as well as their dog, Pebbles, two cats, Nala and Seamus, and a small aquarium of fish.
