Dr. Dyke received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University in 2003. Following eight years of private practice in Michigan and Minnesota, he returned to Iowa State to complete a residency in canine and feline general practice. In 2014, he achieved board certification from the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners.
Following his residency, Dr. Dyke was a clinical assistant professor in community practice at the Washington State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Five years later, he seized the opportunity to move to New York City and worked at the Animal Medical Center for two years.
Dr. Dyke enjoys the diversity of cases seen on a daily basis in veterinary medicine. His interests include surgery, low-stress handling and working with new pet owners. Outside of veterinary medicine, he enjoys international travel with his wife and spending time outdoors, fishing and hiking. Dr. Dyke and his wife share their home with three dogs, a senior cat and a horse.
