Dr. Ivan Weinstein is living his dream job and has practiced veterinary medicine for over 38 years. Dr. Weinstein was born and raised in Pennsylvania and has dreamed of becoming a veterinarian since he was three years old. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University where he received his BS in Animal Science. In 1986 Dr. Weinstein received his DVM degree from Ross University in the Caribbean. He also has an AS in Respiratory Therapy from Hahnemann Medical College. Dr. Weinstein owned his own practice in Oro Valley in Tucson for over 14 years before deciding he wanted to focus 100% on patient care. In his spare time, Dr. Weinstein enjoys watching and attending baseball games and rodeos. He is a proud grandfather of a beautiful baby boy which his daughter blessed him with in June of 2023. He has now nestled down in the city of Mesa, travels 45 minutes to work at VCA Southside Animal Hospital, where he enjoys working with our staff and serving our community.
