Dr. Bruinsma graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biology from Queen's University in Canada. After graduation, she attended St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine, completing her 4th year clinical rotations at the University of Pennsylvania. Following graduation with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2019, she did an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital in Florida. She then moved back up north to join the VCA South Shore team in 2020.
