Hey there, I'm Cailey! VCA Sandy Animal Hospital is the first job I've had working in the veterinary field. I've known since I was a child that I wanted to work in the veterinary field. I grew up watching tons of Animal Planet and National Geographics, learning all I could about animals! I also used to go with my mom every day to work at a Greyhound Adoption kennel where I would help take care of the animals. My favorite was when we took the dogs to the veterinarian where they let me watch them care for pets and do procedures. When I got into high school, I got into a club called FFA. In FFA I participated in all events but showing my animals was by far my favorite part. I showed dairy goats and beef cattle regularly but have also shown pigs, dairy cattle, llamas, and sheep. I've had a passion for helping animals for as long as I can remember. I love working in this field and making a difference in the lives of pets!
