I always knew I wanted to work with animals from a young age so went directly into Animal Health from high school. I graduated from Fairview NAIT in 2010 and immediately started working on a large variety of exotic animals. I enjoy the challenge they present in hospital and creativity that needs to go into treating them as most things are not designed for animals smaller and/or smarter than cats. Over the years I have also developed a passion for emergency medicine and love that my hospital encourages growth in both these areas.
