Dr. Carlos Rossetti is a licensed veterinarian in Florida state. He joined USF (University of South Florida) in 2021. He is a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) where he earned his degree in Perugia, Italy, in 1991, and his Ph.D. in Clinical Pathology of Small Animals at the University of Bologna in 2002. He co-owned the CVS Animal Hospital in Savona, Italy, from 1992 to 2008. In 2005, Dr. Rossetti, along with another group of colleagues, established the Mutual Aid Veterinary Association (from the Italian acronym "AVEMUS"): a network of DVMs to provide clinical support for colleagues.
In Orlando, Dr. Rossetti joined Valencia College, where he has been teaching Anatomy and Physiology 1, Human Biology, and General Biology for undergraduates since 2014. Additionally, Dr. Rossetti was also an instructor and VAT (Veterinary Assisting ) Program Manager at Southern Technical College from 2017 to 2021.
Dr. Rossetti has attended and lectured at various veterinary medical conferences including local, state, national, and international symposiums. During his free time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and friend from all around the world.
