Dara joined VCA in 2019 as Hospital Manager with a passion for veterinary medicine and animal welfare. She attended the University of North Carolina for Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Penn Foster College for Veterinary Technology. She has worked as Practice Manager for multiple private practices across the Carolinas since starting her career as a technician in 2002. She moved to Atlanta in 2018 for the position of Shelter Medicine Business Manager with the Atlanta Humane Society.

Dara's interests are, all things cats, fostering kittens and cats with critical conditions, TNR, animal legislation, animal emergency response, and oh, did we mention CATS! She currently lives in Acworth with her fiancé (Noah) and their menagerie of rescued furbabies. She has seven cats (Zola, Mae, Kinder, Hokie, Revi, Bacon, Toliver), a black lab (Cora), and a community of feral kitties. =^..^=
