A native of Northern Ireland, she came over to Canada and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2009
Spurred by a passion to study the interaction between human & animal health, she has completed a Masters of Public Health degree in 2011 and her PhD in 2016
Joined the OVH team in 2016 and currently splits her time between clinical practice and being the Director of Research for Community Veterinary Outreach, a charitable organization providing care to vulnerably housed individuals and their pets
When not working, she enjoys cooking, reading and cuddling with her two orange tabby cats, Tiernan & Stylo
