Dr. Andrew Guresh was born and raised on the Cape in Falmouth, Massachusetts. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Animal Science at the University of Massachusetts - Amherst. After this, he took to the Midwest where he became a buckeye and obtained his veterinary degree from The Ohio State University. Dr. Guresh has special interests in ophthalmology, internal medicine, and surgery. His love for ophthalmology began in veterinary school where he was fascinated by the how the eye has adapted to suit the needs of different species. To answer your question: yes, dogs see more than black and white!
His favorite part of veterinary medicine is strengthening and lengthening the bond between owner and pet. Currently, Dr. Guresh has two cats, Kahoots and Pancake, who are also buckeyes. Outside of work, Dr. Guresh enjoys distance running, golfing, and testing out new craft breweries.
