Dr. Caitlin Allori was born in Downers Grove, Illinois but raised in Tupelo, Mississippi. Throughout her life, she spent most of her school holidays in the Chicagoland area visiting her large extended family. She is a southerner at heart with deep northern roots. She went to Mississippi State University for her undergraduate degree in Animal and Dairy Science and continued there for veterinary school. She graduated from the Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. During school, Dr. Allori found a love for exotics and she completed externships at a private exotics-only animal hospital in the area, Brookfield Zoo, and Sea World San Antonio. After veterinary school, Dr. Allori completed a yearlong rotating internship at VCA Aurora and VCA Berwyn. She then joined the VCA Noyes team in August 2015. When Dr. Allori is not at work, she can be found spending time with her family, who is back in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, reading, watching TV, traveling, and snorkeling (when she can get to a beach). She has two cats named Finnick and Sirius, who she loves to spend time with and cuddle as much as possible!
