Dr. Marin was born and raised in Colombia, South America, and moved to Canada with her family at a young age. As a child, she grew up surrounded by the love of dogs and cats that her mother used to rescue and recover to give them out for adoption.
Dr. Marin holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Ryerson University in Toronto, and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Universidad CES in Colombia. She completed her clinical rotations at the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) in Canada, and is certified in both countries.
Juliana started practicing veterinary medicine in 2016 in a rural clinic in Ontario and then moved to the US with her husband in 2017. They moved to Grand Rapids, MI, in 2019 and Dr. Marin has been working at VCA Northeast for 4 years as the Medical Director and now as an Associate Veterinarian. She also joined the VCA Telemedicine team in 2022. She has a special interest in internal medicine, dentistry and preventative care. In her spare time, Juliana enjoys camping, nature, traveling, getting to know new places, reading, wine and food, and of course spending time with her toddler, Lucas.
