Dr. Ashleigh Wallace is a California native and grew up in the Bay Area. She attended UC San Diego for undergrad and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. She obtained her veterinary degree from Western University of Health Sciences in 2012 and then did an internship at VCA Emergency Animal Hospital and Referral Center in San Diego. She joined the VCA North Coast team in 2013 as an associate veterinarian. She has a special interest in surgery and dermatology. 

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and menagerie of animals which include her dog, Baxter, 2 cats, Stewart and Chloe, a rabbit, several turtles and tortoises and 2 large aquariums. She is also an avid water skier and loves to go camping and hiking.
