Why did you want to become a veterinarian?
The love of animals, and interest in medicine drew me to being a veterinarian.

Why did you choose to be part of the team at Newton Animal Hospital?
I had always wanted to open my own hospital, which happened when Dr. Douglas and I opened the practice in 1986. I enjoy seeing my long time clients and their pets and meeting new patients. I also have a great staff and great colleagues to work alongside.

What is one area of veterinary medicine you really enjoy?
I really enjoy internal medicine.

What do you enjoy doing on your time off?
I enjoy swimming, hiking, scuba diving, and travel.

Where did you complete your veterinary schooling?
I graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1980.

One fun fact?
My guilty pleasures are popcorn and butter, diet coke, and life saver gummies at the movies!
