Megan is originally from Gadsden, AL, and moved to Birmingham in August 2001 to attend college at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. After graduating with her B.S. in Business Management, Megan continued her education and obtained an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix in 2009. While in college, Megan worked on the human side of medicine at Birmingham Heart Clinic as a bookkeeper and medical records department supervisor. Megan started with VCA as Hospital Manager of VCA Becker Animal Hospital in Birmingham, AL, in June 2007. In January 2012, she transferred to VCA Animal Care Center of Mt. Juliet. In January 2016, Megan transferred to manage VCA Murphy Road Animal Hospital. She has since been promoted to Area Manager of the Greater Nashville Area, in addition to maintaining her Hospital Manager duties at Murphy Road.

When not at work, Megan enjoys spending time with her family (especially her adorable nieces and nephew - Liz, Cadence, Henry, Mallie and Lucy); friends; Labrador Retrievers - Josie and Jenna; and her cat, Biscuit (the cutest orange tabby in the whole world).

Megan enjoys working in the animal industry because she enjoys helping improve the human-animal bond between our clients and their four-legged family members.
