Dr. Christine Widmann joined our team in November 2015 as a Staff Veterinarian and we are incredibly happy that she is now our Medical Director! Dr. Widmann is a Buckeye at heart and completed both her undergrad and veterinary education at Ohio State University. In three years, she earned her Bachelor's degree with Honors and Research Distinction in Animal Science with a minor in Life Sciences. She attended Ohio State's College of Veterinary Medicine and was Vice President of the six professional colleges at the University. 

Dr. Widmann's special veterinary interests include soft tissue surgery and puppy development. She has an adorable Golden Retriever mix (Rhett) and two Chocolate Labs (Sideaux and Ryman).

For fun, Dr. Widmann loves anything outdoors, especially hiking and kayaking, and and seeing all that Tennessee has to offer. She also enjoys watching her Buckeyes play football. She is married to Jordan and they have a beautiful one year old daughter named Adelaide (Addie for short).
