Dr. Bivens grew up in Southern California and graduated from UCLA with a Degree in Biology & Chemistry. She attended and graduated from UC Davis Veterinary School. She also worked on a Master's Degree in Animal Science Genetics.

Dr. Bivens loves general practice with dogs and cats. She enjoys dentistry and surgery. She has been an established veterinarian at VCA Monte Vista for many years. While not at VCA Monte Vista, Dr. Bivens enjoys wildlife photography, her pets and her family.
