Claire was born and raised in Northern Colorado. She's had a love for animals all her life and because of her passion for caring for them, knew early on that working in veterinary medicine was what she wanted to do. Claire started out working with animals as a volunteer at the humane society. In 2016, she completed a program through Penn Foster to become a certified veterinary assistant. After completing this program, she went on to volunteer at the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital, where she gained valuable hands-on experience. Claire is very excited to be a part of caring for the pets that come into VCA Milliken Animal Hospital. When not working, Claire enjoys playing violin and spending time with friends and family.
