Maria Prieto grew up in the Sacramento and surrounding areas. Since a young age she has been passionate about animals and their care. Over the past decade she has spent most of her career working in an animal related field ranging from client service to veterinary assistant. She has worked as a veterinary assistant in multiple General Practice hospitals as well Emergency/Critical Care. Her primary goal is the pets’ health while maintaining excellent client service.

Outside of work Maria enjoys most outdoor activities but especially playing softball and gardening. She also loves road trips to Disneyland, and spending time with her family and pets. She has two Chihuahua’s (Cisco & Roulette), a Pug (Nena) and a cat (Sir Peeve Pistachio). While she loves all pets, she has a special place in her heart for Pugs and all brachycephalic (smooshy face) breeds. She looks forward to working with you and your furry friends.
