Dr. Erdman, Medical Director at Madison Animal Hospital since September 2007, has been with the practice since 1994. He received his VMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1991, and practiced in New Jersey for three years prior to joining MAH. Greg became ABVP (American Board of Veterinary Practitioners) certified in Canine and Feline Practice in 2007 and retains interests in all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, in addition to exotic companion animals.
Originally from rural central Pennsylvania, he and his wife, Judy, live in Wyckoff, NJ and are newly ‘empty-nesters’ with college-age children. He unfortunately recently lost ‘Pugsley’, his English toy spaniel of 12 years, who was originally obtained as a rescue. Dr. Erdman maintains membership in local and national veterinary organizations and has served as President for the Metropolitan New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association. He remains active in Wyckoff Men’s Softball and can often be found attending his children’s sporting events, in addition to skiing in the winter and running when the weather allows.
