Credentialed Veterinary Technician
CVT
Meredith was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, but grew up in countries across South America, so she speaks some Spanish, as well as English. She graduated high school in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, while working at a local wildlife sanctuary, then spent a few years working at a couple of zoos and wildlife sanctuaries across Florida. She graduated from St. Pete College with an AS in Veterinary Technology. Meredith is a certified veterinary technician in Florida, and she's licensed in New York State as well. Since graduation, Meredith has worked in general practice, non-profit animal rescue clinics, surgery centers, even overnights at an animal ER/ICU in New York City. She now makes her home in beautiful Sarasota with her fiancée and her cat, Lance. When she's not working, Meredith is keeping an eye out for wildlife and often lends a helping hand to animals in distress. She's recently helped rescue baby ducks, turtles, baby squirrels, pelicans and too many smaller critters to count. Animals are her life and she's excited to be able to help them in both personal and professional capacities.
