Cemaine currently works Saturdays (and the odd occasional other day) at the clinic. She completed her undergraduate degree at McGill, then moved back to Saskatoon to complete her Master's degree in molecular neurology, PhD in vaccines and immunology, and DVM.
Cemaine and her family, including Red (the very old, very blind and now balding, 7-lb miniature Poodle), all look forward to the day renovations will be complete on their 100+-year old home. When not working and not renovating, Cemaine donates professional services to New Hope Dog Rescue, CatSNIP and is a long-time volunteer with Pets in the Park. She has taught as a sessional in the School of Public Health at the U of S; and currently heads the Veterinary Technology Program (i.e., veterinary nursing) at Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
