Dr. Alice Miao (yes pronounced "meow") grew up in Markham. From a young age, she has dreamed of combining her love of animals and science in the field of veterinary medicine. After completing an undergraduate degree in Biology at Queen's University , Dr Miao moved to Guelph to study at the Ontario Veterinary College. She is very excited to join the Kew Beach team! Alice's veterinary interests include soft tissue surgery, nutrition, and managing the stress of our furry friends in-clinic.

Dr Miao lives in Toronto with her partner and their cat Luna, who is very chatty despite being deaf. In her free time Dr. Miao enjoys reading, playing board games with friends and trying out new restaurants in the city.
