Dr. Lee grew up in Taiwan and received his training in veterinary medicine from the National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan. After graduating from vet school in 2003, he began the journey to study aboard in the United States. Through Oklahoma State and Kansas State University, he joined the 3rd year vet student classes to prepare for the National Board Exam. He was able to gain acceptance into the clinical year program at Kansas State University and completed the final step for meeting the DVM equivalency, prior to practicing veterinary medicine, in the United States.
In 2012, Dr. Lee began practicing as a general practitioner in small animal medicine in California. He enjoys caring for animals and has specific interests in cardiology and internal medicine. In 2016, he and his family moved to Texas and he gained his experiences in emergency medicine and critical care, and developed an interest in ultrasound while working in a 24-hour emergency animal hospital.
Dr. Lee is married and enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids. He also has two dogs: BoBo and Bao Bao. In his free time, he enjoys playing piano, painting, bible study and playing basketball.
In addition to being fluent in Mandarin, Dr. Lee is USDA certified to issue both international and domestic travel health certificates.
