Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Graduated from the university of Puerto Rico Mayaguez campus with a bachelor's biology degree 2002. Attended Ross University veterinary medicine program 2008. Final clinical year at LSU graduated 2012. Married. 

Interests are fishing, sports, wild life photography and hiking.
