Dr. Roxane MacLellan is a board-certified veterinary dentist and a certified acupuncturist. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Dr. MacLellan did a post doc fellowship in Veterinary Dentistry and Oral surgery at Colorado State University and then stayed on to teach Dentistry and Oral surgery at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She also taught dentistry at the University of Minnesota Veterinary Teaching hospital. Dr. MacLellan's research interests include oral neoplasia and feline chronic gingivostomatitis. Dr. MacLellan has lectured to numerous veterinary students, and veterinarians and has volunteered with the Peter Emily International Veterinary Dental Foundation, providing pro-bono dental care to rescued lions, tigers, bears and wolves.
Dr. MacLellan is a diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College. She is a member of the Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry, the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture and the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association.
