Dr. Nicole Copeland graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. She completed a vigorous, yearlong internship at Blue Pearl Specialty and Emergency Pet Hospital in San Antonio. Dr. Copeland returned to work VCA Health Associates in 2021. She spent her college summers and school breaks working here as a technician in preparation to her enrolling in vet school. Her long-term goal is to pursue a residency and become a diplomat of the American College of Zoological Medicine with an emphasis in aquatic veterinary medicine. This is what Dr. Copeland said about her job, "My favorite part about my job is being able to communicate with clients and help them understand their options, so that together, we may create the best care plan for their pet."

When not in the clinic, Dr. Copeland loves to travel, photography and curl up with a good book. She has two feline fur babies, Mila and Tiger Lily.
