Dr. Kelly Lima received her B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of California Davis in 2014. She then went on to work in clinical research and furthered her education by entering a graduate program. She studied the relationship between bacterial populations of the skin and gastrointestinal tract of human patients that had suffered burn injuries. After discovering that her passion was in veterinary medicine, she entered veterinary school with the class of 2023 also at the University of California Davis.

A Bay Area native, Dr. Lima grew up in Morgan Hill and is excited to be practicing in Half Moon Bay. She has many fond memories riding bikes and watching fireworks with her aunt, uncle, and cousin who are Half Moon Bay natives.

Dr. Lima enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine with a special interest in dermatology. In her free time, Dr. Lima enjoys hiking, baking cookies, and monitoring her garden of carrots. She is the proud owner of an anxious German Shepherd, a fun-loving Catahoula mix, and a cuddly orange cat.
