Cory was born and raised in Northern Kentucky on a small horse farm and was educated at Morehead State University in Eastern Kentucky with a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master's in Clinical Psychology. Deciding to follow his passion for animal care, Cory decided to change careers and work in the veterinary field. His veterinary experience began at the age of 12, shadowing a local mixed practice mobile vet 2-3 days a week. His first official veterinary job was at an animal care ER in Kentucky. He maintained this position throughout undergrad and grad school. After moving to Savannah, Cory returned to veterinary medicine. He has over 16 years in the veterinary field, with prior experience as a veterinary technician and managing veterinary hospitals.
