Dr. Justine Williams is a Calgary native and completed her undergraduate program at the University of Calgary before moving to Glasgow, Scotland to complete her veterinary degree. She returned to her hometown following graduation, then joining the Horizon group. She spent several years with the team at McKenzie Towne before joining the teams at both Riverbend and Forest Lawn.

Dr. Williams has been involved in the veterinary field since 2008, assuming various roles at a number of busy small animal practices in Calgary. While completing her veterinary degree, she returned regularly to Calgary and volunteered with Horizon group before joining the team as a veterinarian in 2018. She truly cares for each client and patient relationship. Her special interests include surgery (particularly soft tissue), dentistry and pain management in her canine and feline patients.

In her spare time, Dr. Williams can be found hiking, travelling, or with her two adopted Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Cassie and Baxter. Cassie is a senior dog that is always getting into herself into trouble and eating things she shouldn't whereas Baxter is the perfect canine companion.
