Dr. Timothy Runion grew up in Anaheim, CA. Dr. Runion's love of animals lead him to pursue a bachelor's of science degree in animal science from Cal Poly Pomona. After graduating from Cal Poly Pomona he attended the University of California of Davis and received his doctorate in veterinary medicine in 2001. After graduating from UCD, Dr. Runion did a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA Sacramento Animal Medical Group. Following his internship, Dr. Runion held positions at several local animal hospitals prior to joining our team at VCA El Rancho Animal Hospital. Dr. Runion's interests include surgery and internal medicine. He has a passion for being able to restore the family and the pet back to health.

Dr. Runion is married and has a wonderful son named, Thomas. His interests outside of the hospital include gardening, bicycle riding, hiking, and aquarium management. The Runion's share their lives with a German Shepard named Charlie and a French Bulldog named Bart.
