Dr. Wilson was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida. A true Florida native, Dr. Wilson only ventured out of the state to study briefly at Tufts University in Massachusetts. Dr. Wilson worked as a veterinary technician while she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in animal science. She graduated cum laude from the University of Florida, where she also received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Dr. Wilson has experience with diagnostic procedures, including radiology, anesthesia, and blood collection, as well as orthopedic and general wellness examinations. Dr. Wilson was glad to start her role at VCA Cypress Creek Animal Hospital to pursue her professional goals of providing quality medical care to patients and communicating with her clients. Dr. Wilson is a Certified Fear Free Practitioner and is trained in Feline Friendly techniques. She resides in Tampa with her husband, their sons, Parker and Graham, and their dogs, Charlie and Ella. Dr. Wilson enjoys traveling.
