Dr. Bowen was born in Northern Utah but shortly moved away from the state of Utah. He grew up in much warmer states such as Texas, Arizona and California. Eventually Dr. Bowen found his way back to Utah. He has always had a love for animals, has always enjoyed learning new things, and loves a good challenge. The field of veterinary medicine offered everything that he ever wanted in a career. He graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University.

In his off time, Dr. Bowen loves spending time with his family, wife and three kids, being outdoors, and just observing nature. His other interests include golfing, fishing, swimming, barbequing and spending time with his friends and family. His favorite quote and motto is "You need to enjoy life and live it to the fullest everyday."
